Summer Scholarship Program

Individuals with autism don’t have the social skills that come more naturally to others. By participating in engaging and educational programs with others on the spectrum, an individual with autism can receive a lot of benefits – such as better interaction with their peers and increased activity participation.

Social skills camps are so important to the growth of a child with autism. However, the costs associated with going to camp are sometimes too much for parents to pay on their own. ASDF partners with autism organizations around the country that offer social skills summer camps. ASDF provides partial and full scholarships to those families who need financial assistance to send their children to camp.

ASDF works directly with our partner organizations to provide scholarships to children who attend social skills camps. While we cannot help everyone, we were able to send many autistic children to camp last year through our Social Skills Camp Scholarship Program.
